There is a full schedule of holiday events at the Church of St Paul the Apostle located at 60th Street and Columbus Avenue on the evening of Winter’s Eve. See the entire lineup of events below:

6:00pm – Doors open: Cookie decorating and beverage throughout the evening
6-6:30pm: Performance by the Melita Chamber Ensemble – On Winter’s Eve The Melita Ensemble features two of its members Mitchell Lyon (cello) and  Jocelyn Zhu (violin). Both graduates of the Juilliard School, these young upcoming musicians bring the highest quality music to the sacred space at St Paul’s. Tonight they will be playing instrumental holiday selections and classical favorites.
6:30-7:00pm: Movie – The Little Drummer Boy – This classic movie who tells the story of a poor young boy who is summoned by the Magi to the nativity where, without a gift for the infant Jesus, he plays his drums while remembering “I played the best for Him” and “He smiled at me”.
7:00pm: St. Nicholas Arrives
7-7:20pm: Family Sing-a-long led by the St Paul Children’s Choir under the Direction of Olivia Betzen
7:20-7:55pm: Sacred Sounds at St Paul’s Organ Performance – featuring students of the Juilliard Organ Department performing on the St Paul Organ. On Winter’s Eve Daniel Ficarri will perform a recital of organ music based upon popular hymn tunes.
7:55-8:10pm: Favorite Spanish Christmas Music performed by the St Paul Spanish Choir, Coro Hispano
8:10-8:40pm: Broadway Sings at St Paul’s with performances from Max Kumangai (Waitress), Sara Ruzicka (Beautiful), Michael Lowney (La Cage Aux Folles), Lauren Ciardullio (Aladdin), Ross Lekites (Kinky Boots and Directed by Joey Chancey (American in Paris).  And featuring the St Paul Young Adult Choir and Ensemble.
8:40pm: Drawing for a Nativity Scene
8:40-9:00pm: Sing-a-long led by Broadway’s Joey Chancey and members of the St Paul Young Adult Choir
